I LOVE how my hair looks like when it's been freshly dye, and I hate how quickly the color can sometimes begin to fade afterwards. So, while I was looking for ways to improve the durability of my hair dye, I came across "color-depositing".
Color-depositing is a fast, non-damaging and easy way to add semi-permanent extra color to your hair. They can enhance your natural color, neutralize unwanted colors, refresh dyed hair, tone and add bold hues of color. These shampoos, conditioners and hair masks contain pigments inside, which only stain the outer layer of your hair strands because the hair cuticle is not open with harsh chemicals.
Moreover, although these treatments can be use in any type of hair, the results will depend on your hair's base color. These products are perfect because they help keeping my red hair from fading in between dyes. For better results, I always choose a color that matches my base color.
